Discover the Secrets of the Halaveli Wreck Dive Site

Sitting just 2 km northwest of Halaveli Island lies the Halaveli Wreck, also known as Highly 18. This 40-meter-long sunken ship, resting between 20 and 28 meters, offers an unforgettable wreck diving experience.

The deck lies at 20 meters and the hull rests on a sandy seabed at 28 meters. Coral growth covers the wreck, providing shelter to vibrant tropical fish. Turtles, stingrays, barracuda, and moray eels are commonly spotted gliding around this aquatic relic.

The dive begins by descending with the current, followed by a tour along the wreck’s sides. A nearby pinnacle adds an extra dimension to the dive, offering even more marine encounters.

This site is ideal for intermediate and advanced divers seeking both a historical and biologically rich experience. Dive time averages 45 minutes or until reaching 50 bar.
